Unforced errors punished NS

Series of mistakes by NS players punished them with a defeat to Kedah last saturday at Padang UUM Sintok with final score 26-31. Game that is said to be in favour of NS was turnover by a series of individual mistakes and carelessness by NS players. Unable to finished what is set up nicely was also one of the reasons the defeat to Kedah for the first time in Negeri Sembilan rugby history book. Started from the first whistle, NS managed to put pressure deep into Kedah's territory but unable to convert it into points. It is Kedah who draw the first blood with 6 points from penaly kick. NS replied back from a try by Acap and the 1st half ended with 6-5 in favour of Kedah. Actually the 1st half started well for NS, but the execution and finishing is not there.
Until the 2nd half started, this is the points where NS players lost their focus and give away 2 simple try to Kedah which is not suppose to happen in that period of time. Indiscipline was one of the factor why NS give away too much penalty to the opponent. At certain times,players sometimes confuse with the ELV (Experimental Law variations) rules that has been applied to Malaysia rugby scene this year. NS gave too many penalties in the rucking which is sometimes players seems to dive over the ball. This is what i see as a possible reason on why NS lost to Kedah last Saturday. At one time, NS seems to make a comeback but time is running out to make them to do so. There are many lesson that the players can get from the game especially in the tournament as well. Committment and determination is not there to achieve what they want in the game. Hopefully they can change to achieve more glory in the future especially Agong's Cup is just around the corner..Insya Allah..

First 20 minutes was a disaster..

Last Saturday NS played against Armed Forces in the MRU Cup 2nd match for Negeri Sembilan state team. The game played at TUDM Jalan Bellamy which is home ground for Armed Forces. NS must win this game to boost their confidence after 13-13 draw against Police last week. Pitch at Jalan Bellamy a little bit sloggy after heavy downpour for the last 3 days. NS did not start the game as usual as they down by 4 tries in the first 20 minutes of the first half. NS managed to get only 3 points after successful conversion by Komeng.
NS try to make a comeback in the 2nd half and manage to get 1try but failed to get the point form the conversion. Everything goes well for NS as they control the possession and territory for the rest of 60 minutes of playing. But it seems that the finishing is not there, everything goes wrong when it comes to final touch of the moves. Players seems to surrender early and intimidated by the big margin of the score. It is hope that the next coming matches this Tuesday against Selangor the main rivals , NS will play their hearts out to make something to cheer about. Each players must cooperate and combine together to play as a team and play their part in the team. Hopefully NS can win their 1st match in this MRU Cup,Insya Allah..Guide us to the winning ways..

Oil price reduce,hoorayy!!

Good news today for Malaysians as the government reduce the oil price by 15cents to RM2.00 which almost near to the old price RM1.92. Hopefully the price will remain for a long time or soon to reduce a bit more. Along with this phenomena, it is hope also other price will reduce as well. We hope that the global oil price will remain stable and not increase or decrease rapidly as it will effect other things. Let us pray together,amin..

Last minute equaliser..

Last Saturday, the 1st game of MRU Cup between Negeri Sembilan and Police played at Padang Kolej Tuanku Jaafar, Mantin, Negeri Sembilan. It was a bright day as all the players arrived early to warm up and have some team talk before the game. I'm confident that the team can perform well today although most of the senior and key players absent. Started with warm - up (All Blacks style) hehe,lead by Bro Mizi. Team started to focus for the game,all the players received the instructions and set play from the coach.
As the game started, I played as a centre and lead the backline as well. In the 1st half,one quick penalty tap gave NS a try by Zack and conversion by Koi. We played well and managed to scrape through with 1 converted try and 1 penalty in the 1st half. Everything going as planned, all players played like there are no tomorrow. In the 2nd half, NS managed to control the possession and played inside opponent territory and got 1 penalty to lead 13-3 at one time. But, Police managed to get 1 converted try and they are coming closer 10-13. Until the dying minutes,luck is not with us and Police managed to get 1 penalty to level the score 13-13. I feel sorry for the team,although we controlled the possesion but the discipline on the last minute of the whistle cost us the defeat. It is not the end of the world, this is only the beginning for the team. There are many matches to go and hopefully they can recovered well from the defeat to come back strong next week against Armed Forces.. May Allah be with us all.. Amin..

Today 14th November, looking forward for MRU Cup match between NS and Police. 1st game for NS as they want to look for moral winning to boost their confident for next coming matches. Last year they fumbled on the last hurdle to the Army in the final game at Mindef Stadium, Jalan Padang Tembak. hopefully this year they can improve their performance compare to last year an all player get ready to rumble. I hope also that i can give my best perfromance throughout the league matches to make sure NS can win all their respective games. May Allah bless the team,amin..Insya Allah..
